What Does a Bookkeeper Do?

Bookkeepers develop and maintain your company’s overall financial processes and management. We create your accounting data file so that it’s tailored to the specific needs of you and your business. You will, of course, have full access to this file and the reports you need.
We all know the basic duties of a bookkeeper; to track payables and receivables and keep all your business’s financial transactions documented.
However, we also manage payroll, handle deposits, reconcile accounts, create and maintain monthly financial reports, manage sales taxes as well as quarterly taxes and withholding, 1099s and W2s. Bookkeepers also prepare the financial information you will need to submit to your CPA to file your annual taxes.
